Danfoss TPOne now available in handy heating efficiency packs

The just launched Danfoss TPOne room thermostat is now available in the newly upgraded Danfoss Heating Efficiency Packs (HEP) – the handy way for installers to buy high efficiency domestic heating controls. In the new range of HEPs the existing TP5000 programmable room thermostat has been replaced by the user-friendly TPOne, which offers all the functionality and more of current TP models, including ultra-easy installation, in one all-new range. As part of the HEP upgrade Danfoss has also swapped the RAS-C2 thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) for the stylish RTW bi-directional TRV featuring an accurate liquid-filled sensor.
Danfoss Marketing Services Manager, Gareth Ash, says the new, improved HEP range offers installers a great deal on the very latest Danfoss developments, like the TPOne room thermostat. “Packs are available in a choice of eight product combinations, perfect for either new installations or upgrading existing; they include six TRVs and a choice of room thermostat, to suit different applications and budgets. As well as the convenience, for installers, of a single pack of controls you can pick off the shelf, end users could reduce their energy consumption by as much as 40% by choosing to upgrade their controls with HEP.”
The innovative TPOne room thermostat is designed by Danfoss to suit almost any domestic heating control application, with true 7-day programming, holiday function, and it even offers timing for a hot water cylinder. With a highly intuitive user interface, TPOne combines fast installation and set-up wizard with one-touch controls so householders can control their heating with confidence for optimum comfort and economy. And like all Danfoss room thermostats, TPOne offers the energy-saving benefits of chrono-proportional control (also known as TPI) making it ErP Class 4.

The RTW range of TRVs boasts Danfoss’ flow selectable, bi-directional design. This means it can be installed horizontally or vertically, in flow or return and so provides a solution to the problem of ‘water hammer’. This advanced TRV also has a built-in liquid-filled sensor, which reacts quickly to changes in room temperature for improved comfort and energy savings, and features a positive shut-off position.
