Danfoss Randall is reinforcing its industry-beating ‘no quibble’ two-year warranty on its domestic heating product range, from programmers and thermostats to TRVs and motorised control valves. Whatever the nature of the fault or defect, manufacturing or installation, installers can return ‘in warranty’ products to their local merchant and receive an equivalent product from the Danfoss Randall range – completely free of charge, no quibble!
The installer doesn’t have to wait for a faulty product to be tested or for a new product to be despatched; he can simply swap old for new at the merchant counter. Of course, when a faulty product is then returned by the merchant Danfoss will test it to original manufacturing specification, and even if a problem cannot be found the offer of a free replacement still stands. “That’s what we mean by no quibble,” says the company’s Marketing Director, Bjorn Sejr Nielsen. “And if you can’t find the original receipt, simply contact our customer service department and request a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA). Warranty expiry details are clearly marked on all products, making it simple to see if it’s still under guarantee,” he adds.
Danfoss Randall believes this unique product warranty reflects the company’s ‘no nonsense’ approach to customer support. From technical helplines and online installation guides to training that keeps installers up to date with the latest technologies, Danfoss Randall is dedicated to making life easier for its customers. “Now, if any of our products fail to meet our high quality standards, for any reason, we’ve made it really quick and easy to get a free replacement at no cost to your business,” says Bjorn Sejr Nielsen. “The benefit to Danfoss is two-fold: happier customers who can trust the brand, and, of course, the opportunity to identify any possible product defect which can be engineered out by better manufacturing.”
Danfoss has been a leader in radiator thermostats since the 1940s, and Randall became a leader in central heating controls in the early 1960s. Formed in 1991, Danfoss Randall is a leading manufacturer of world-class heating controls, from programmers and thermostats to TRVs and motorised control valves, with factories in the UK and Denmark. The company’s extensive product range is supplied through a national network of stockists. As part of its commitment to improving the knowledge and profitability of its customers, Danfoss Randall offers a programme of installer training courses and CPD seminars, covering all aspects of domestic central heating techniques.
