Danfoss to unveil its latest innovations in heating control technology at Installer Show 2024

At this year’s Installer Show, Danfoss is demonstrating the exciting concept of ‘Engineering Tomorrow’ with innovations from across its broad range of Climate Solutions. Split into three distinct zones: Residential, Commercial Buildings and C02 Solutions, the stand gives visitors the opportunity to see the latest heating control technology and new scalable cold room solutions and discuss their requirements with experts in each zone.  Also on the stand will be the District Energy Network Clinic where visitors will get the chance to explore this cornerstone in the drive for Net Zero. 

Residential Zone

Installer Show 2024 will be the first opportunity for installers to ‘get hands on’ with the newly launched Danfoss Ally™ voice-controlled smart heating system, and the Danfoss Icon2™ hydronic floor heating control. 

Danfoss’ Ally™ is Zigbee 3.0-certified for wireless communication which means it can connect and interact with solutions by multiple manufacturers, allowing home heating to be voice- controlled simply by connecting to your favourite digital assistant. Users can manage radiators and floor heating, control heating bills, and schedule heating routines effortlessly with the Danfoss Ally App, ensuring precision, convenience and cost-effectiveness.

Alongside Danfoss’ Ally technology, visitors can also see the new Icon2. This clever underfloor heating control is fast and hassle-free to operate and can be integrated seamlessly with Danfoss Ally™ solutions. And it takes just 9 minutes to install! The system is available in different versions, including Danfoss Icon2™ Sensor, Icon2™ RT, and Icon2™ Featured RT, along with basic and advanced main controllers. 

Commercial Building Zone

Digitalisation of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems is key to delivering significant energy savings and reducing carbon emissions in commercial buildings. Danfoss’ AB-QM control valves stand at the very heart of Danfoss’ digital hydronics solutions offering a modular solution to cover all digital HVAC 4.0 needs.  The AB-QM PICV combines a control valve and a built-in pressure controller, delivering precise control with great convenience. It is simple to select, effortless to install and straightforward to set.

Also on the stand will be the NovoCon digital actuator.
